DO's

• Show up on time

• Look and smell presentable

• Bring some food

• Arrive early the first day as hospitals are big mazes

• Have an open mind

• Listen more than you speak

• Ask questions

• Be ready to learn

• If you have long hair keep it up

• Bring a small notebook and pen

• Do ask to do patient care after you have watched a few

DONT'S

• Take a seat of an RT

• Be on your phone

• Engage in gossip

• Cuss (No matter what the RT's do)

• Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with

• Don't stay on the sidelines, get in their and touch patients do RT care

• Be Afraid, we have all been there you have got this!
